Acceptable Use Policy

Short version: don't abuse the service or the people on it. Breaking any of the rules below can get your account suspended or terminated.
You may not
- Redistribute or resell purchased audio, text, or images outside the app.
- Circumvent access controls, including the 15-second preview truncation on unpurchased collections.
- Scrape or crawlthe service or its API with automated tools, or simulate device location to trigger stories you aren't physically visiting.
- Reverse-engineer or decompile the app beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
- Upload or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading about history in a harmful way, or that contains malware.
- Impersonate another person, a creator, or History Cake staff.
- Probe, attack, or disrupt the service — including attempts to access other accounts or exhaust shared resources.
Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, account termination without refund, and, where appropriate, legal referral. We will generally try to contact you first unless the violation is severe.
