End User License Agreement
Last updated: April 21, 2026
This EULA governs your use of the History Cake mobile app. It is in addition to our Terms of Service. If a conflict arises between documents, the Terms of Service control for service-level issues and this EULA controls for app-license issues.
1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with our Terms and this EULA, History Cake grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the mobile app on a device that you own or control, for non-commercial personal use.
2. Restrictions
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the app, or any part of it.
- You may not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
- You may not remove any proprietary notices or circumvent any technical access controls.
3. Updates
The app may auto-update. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Some updates may be required to keep the app working; we'll try to give reasonable notice where practical.
4. App Store / Google Play terms
If you installed the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this EULA with the right to enforce it against you. If you installed from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
5. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the app and delete all copies. Sections that by nature should survive (restrictions, disclaimer) will continue to apply.
6. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, History Cake disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for damages arising from your use of the app, as further described in our Terms of Service.
