Hole #1 - Eaton, #1 handicap

We have a semi-blind and slightly crowned fairway with a tricky little spine running down the left third. Left of this hump and balls continue straight or can bounce slightly left or follow their line straight. While right of the spine, balls roll out to the right about 3 to 8 yards. There is a sycamore long right you can see bending into the fairway - this is to be avoided for drivers in the 280 to 300 range from the blue tees, Our goal is left of that tree, aiming at a treetop behind the green which will allow the finish of the roll of the drive in the middle or right third favoring the middle. so play the typically incoming breeze and your shot selection accordingly...
